ASSEMBLING YOUR PROJECT TEAM EARLY
A successful build involves planning and preparation. Purposeful design in the early phase of a project will capture your ideas and account for your budget. This helps to avoid time intensive changes onsite during the build.
With over 20 years in the industry, we have developed key relationships with professionals and can assemble a team to deliver your perfect custom home. Once you have committed to working with Schmidke Construction, we’ll introduce you to an Architect and Designer that fits your style and personality.
If you have already selected an Architect and/or Designer, great! We like to partner with them early for discussing site challenges, pricing, material ordering, and value engineering opportunities.
Moving your build forward
When it’s time to break ground or start demo, you’ll want to know what’s next, and when, and what it looks like! Most of our clients are remote and aren’t able to see the jobsite. At Schmidke Construction, you’ll work with a project manager who understands all the details of your build, plans for upcoming phases, and troubleshoots all obstacles in a thoughtful way. Your project manager is a key element to managing your build efficiently.
Communicating at multiple touchpoints
Through weekly and monthly touchpoints during the build, our team is in contact with clients, Architect, and Designers to communicate updates and to discuss any changes. Our cadence of communication is laid out during the early build phase and flexes to ensure we fit within our clients’ busy schedule.
Our industry specific project software allows clients to see photos, change orders, budget updates, and track progress all in real time and at their convenience.

Our team is dialed in to each build. We know the clients and their family and they get to know ours.
